Basil had a bruise/contusion like mark that developed under his skin.

After a  visit to the vet and a course of treatment Basil made a full recovery.

According to the vet Basil contracted a type if 'Staph' infection and prescibed a course of antibiotics and 'topical cream' which I administered daily for 2 weeks, he is now in good health
